Executive Staff
Leesa Puleo, Executive Director
Leesa has been the Executive Director of APWC since spring of 2009. She is a dynamic, proven executive and manager with a 22-year career in childcare, early childhood development, primary, secondary, and adult education, social services, and services to individuals with disabilities. Prior to joining the agency, she served for more than eight years as Executive Director of Keep Youth Doing Something, KYDS, Inc., a non-profit agency providing quality after school and weekend programs to over 4,000 at-risk youth and their families. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California, with an emphasis in mental health. At APWC she is responsible for ensuring the overall delivery of high quality services consistent with the APWC's mission statement and the organization’s goals.
Lyane Peralta, Clinical Supervisor
Lyane is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She received her Masters of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, with an emphasis in working with children, youths and their families. Lyane worked for several social service agencies, including Chinatown Service Center, WRAP Family Services, and Big Sisters of Los Angeles prior to joining APWC.
